Well, I am just starting out on the new adventure of blogging. I live in a small house in Cedar Creek, Tx. (near Austin) , I am a retired RN, so now I have time to do other things. I love to travel , read novels, some non-fiction, play with the grandkids, play with my dog Peaches. I have a son ,Ed, who drives an eighteen wheeler all over the country and is home every three or four weeks. He has a house in the hill country that is equipped with a fine 52 inch TV . It is hooked up to play the new Blue Ray DVDs and it is really awsome. I have two daughters also, one lives next door to me and the other lives in Westlake hills in Austin. I am basically a news hound, watch Fox news most of the time, however with the present poliltical situation, it is hard to watch most of the time. I am a conservative, used to claim to be Rep. but now am thinking Independent. is the way to go, I am opposed to the Dems and their dishonest activities, I think Pelosi is a power hungry/power mad person and I pray for the House of Rep. Of course, the Repub licans are not much better as far as being dishonest. They all want to feather their own nest , get re-elected, and not a whole lot of real interest in their constituants.
